Day 93: Perth

The sun is shining and hopefully today will be warm and sunny. I decide to go for a morning walk, as we are close to a parkland and opposite the Karrinyup Waters Golf Course, one of Perth's most exclusive.

Lake Gwellup makes up part of the open space and once I get off the footpath leading to the open area, it is a very nice place to go for a walk.

Therre isa well defined path through the bush

and along the lakeside

But we are still in suburbia and the occasional glimpse reminds you, like this one of Karrinyup Waters Shopping Centre looking across the lake.

I got a bit carried away on the walk and ended up circumnavigating the golf course as well as having a good walk in Lake Gwellup Open area. About 8 km later, I arrived back at the caravan.

Late morning, we drive over to Michelle's, as they are now home from the boys morning football game. A few more chores around the house are completed and by late afternoon the weather looks like it is about to turn. The rain returned, the temperature dropped, but despite all of that we managed an impressive roast dinner cooked on the BBQ.

We are now starting to think about the next leg of our journey as we plan to continue South on Wednesday. The caravan is booked in for a service Wednesday morning, so our destination on will depend on the time we collect the van, but we are looking at options about 2 hours South of Perth. The rest of the plan is pretty open at the moment, other than a booking in Esperance.
