Day 91: Perth

The van is looking quite homely, enhanced by flowers Carole received for her Birthday from  Michelle and family.

There is some major tree surgery going on at Michelle's place this morning, so we don't hurry over. We still have a few issues to sort out with the CBA after our mastercard was cancelled early in our trip, so head off to a branch in Karringup to sort it out.

When we arrived at Michelle's parking was at a premium, as the nature strip was strewn with parts of trees .

Most of the trees being removed were around the pool, so the part of the back yard was similar.

Cody was home from Uni and decided to cook us what started out as brunch, but turned out as a big feed along the lines of all day breakfast.

Doing a few tasks around the house filled in the afternoon, the major one being establishing some new gardens.

The herb garden looks good.

Below near the pool is still work in progress.

Dinner tonight was at the Cafe at the caravan park, where Cody has a part time job, so we had excellent service as he was on duty tonight. The cafe is huge and has a children's playground attached.  The twins were only seen briefly devouring their food before they were back out playing with all of the other kids.

Tomorrow we are all going out for a Birthday lunch to celebrate Carole and Bill's birthdays at a favourite Italian restaurant. Weekends are about the only time it is possible to get everyone together.
