Day 86: Jurien Bay to Perth

The drive is pretty uneventful and we thought it followed the coastline more than it does. We did see a lot of sand dunes.

For a coffee break we diverted into Lancelin, where we had been a few years ago, hoping to get a cup of coffee down near the jetty.

Last time we were her we had lunch at a cafe  overlooking the beach and jetty. It is now permanently closed. The only other option we could find, where there was room to park, was on the way back out of town at a cafe specialising in dog owners "Sandy Paws" Cafe. We had our coffee and moved on.

After a bit of going around in circles to get access to our caravan park due to major roadworks, we arrived at lunchtime. Got ourselves set up, had lunch and made contact with our daughter, Michelle, to let her know we were here.

The park is not far from  her place, so we found our way over there at a bit after 2pm. We caught up with Cody and the twins, and it is Bill's birthday. We stayed for dinner and then headed home to the park.

The next week or so we will be spending time catching up with family, so the blog will be brief over that time.
